NATIONAL SALES MANAGER:

Five years of experience in dental practice management software sales, and management of a team. Dental industry knowledge, sales management experience, and sales mentoring abilities along with computer proficiency. Responsible for ensuring maximum revenue growth of the Enterprise products and services through direct and indirect management of the company's national sales organization. Assist in developing objectives for sales functions related to volume, cost of sales, product profitability, and competitive position with the market place; establish and maintain effective communication with appropriate directors and managers across the company to ensure the proper level of sensitivity to needs of field operations; and handle difficult sales negotiations.

Responsibilities:
 
Ensure maximum revenue growth of all Enterprise products and services through direct and indirect management of the company's national sales, sales support, and consulting organizations.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in core products.
  • Provides quarterly result assessments of sales staff's productivity.
  • Assist with the coordination of proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable product sales.

Establish and manage effective sales training to ensure a sales staff which can effectively attain desired sales growth and profitability results.
 
  • Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends terminations as necessary, etc.)
  • Review all sales proposals and provide direction on closing tools and skills necessary to win the business
  • Assists in sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales prices/discounts with sales team and management.

Establish and manage effective programs and trade shows to address the following issues:
 
  • New account sales and growth to base through sales force
  • Improved trade show and seminar presentations
  • Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns
  • Proper use and level of sales support
  • Manages and maintains a budget for the department at a reasonable level.
  • Works through and with business/financial issues on contracts.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
